I started bookkeeping as a hobby just over 25 years ago. I graduated from Confederation College with Hotel Management and Human Resources diplomas before joining my husbands accounting practice in 2001 as an accounting assistant. I did the bookkeeping for more than 25 companies, most of which were small and medium forestry and trucking companies.

Over the past 11 years I have kept up with a couple of bookkeeping clients while working full-time in the finance departments of both public and not-for-profit companies. I am an

experienced Human Resources Manager skilled in Non-profit Organizations, Employee Benefits Design, Payroll, Accounting, and Organizational Development. 



Bookkeeping Assistant

I have a pretty eclectic background, ranging from undergraduate degrees in music and psychology to a Masters in Social Work, baking and customer service. I spent over a year working as an accounts receivable clerk - and loved the detective work, filing, data entry - all the stuff most people find boring. I provided invoicing, billing and cash reconciliation for 4 stores including Dryden, Fort Frances and Kenora along with Thunder Bay. Cheryl is my mentor in this fresh start of mine - and I'm looking forward to assisting her in providing quality bookkeeping services for you and your business.
